The Hamilton Wildcats/NJ Rush '02 squad was recently honored  by Hamilton Township with a plaque in the town's Wall of Champions at Veteran's Park.

The team became the first Wildcats/Rush team to win a New Jersey Youth Soccer State Cup as part of the National Championship Series. The '02 went on to finish second in the region and were ranked No. 1 in the nation a year ago. 

The team is alive this fall in NJ State Cup play and will compete in a semifinal match on Nov. 7. 

 The girls honored are Emily Brutnell, Victoria Dalton, Lauren Corby, Jiselle Daniels, Victoria D'Imperio, Gabrielle Girman, Gia Girman, Morgan Hart, Nicole Johan-Wisnierski, Jasmine Lewis, Jayne McGrath, Sophia Miranda, Isabella Pesce, Nicole Rende, Isabela Ricardo, Cameron Shackford and Jamie Willis. 

Coaches Chris Petitt, Ken Miranda and Warren Lewis were also honored.
